Business & IP Centre Devon have teamed up with the Diversity Business Incubator to deliver small business grants and business support packages to create over 22 new BAME founded businesses across Devon.

The aim of the project is to stimulate innovation, new approaches and new ideas supporting the recovery and growth of SMEs in a post-Covid environment as well as supporting the establishment of new businesses and accelerating the growth of new-starts many of which will have started during lock-down. The BAME start-up grant programme is designed to Kickstart brand new BAME founded businesses. It will require an application and evaluation of a business plan.

We can assist you more than ever with business advice, finding grant money for start-ups or already existing businesses, especially as we move into the ‘new normal’.

At BIPC Devon we provide free business support to Devon based small businesses and start-ups. We hold regular drop-in sessions in Paignton, Exeter and Barnstaple library. 

As a Business & IP Centre we follow a programme and ethos developed by the Business & IP Centre at the British Library, London, providing support to business owners, entrepreneurs and inventors.
